Listing Photo Preparation Guide

Thank you for choosing Charleston Creative Media for your listing photos. A well-prepared home photographs better and attracts more buyers.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

• Declutter every room and remove personal items.

• Turn on all lights and replace burned-out bulbs.

• Open blinds and curtains to maximize natural light.

• Hide trash cans and loose cords.

• Secure pets and remove beds, bowls, toys, and crates.

LIVING ROOMS & BEDROOMS

• Vacuum carpets / sweep floors.

• Remove excess furniture to make rooms look larger.

• Make all beds with wrinkle-free bedding.

• Straighten pillows, blankets, and décor.

KITCHEN

• Completely clear countertops.

• Remove dish racks, soaps, sponges, and towels.

• Put away small appliances if possible.

• Empty the sink / remove all dishes.

• Remove magnets and papers from the refrigerator.

BATHROOMS

• Remove towels, floor mats, robes, and personal items.

• Hide shower products (soap, shampoo, razors).

• Clean mirrors and glass shower doors.

• Close toilet lids.

EXTERIOR

• Move all vehicles away from driveway and curb.

• Put away trash bins, hoses, tools, and toys.

• Sweep porches and tidy outdoor furniture.

• Clean front entry and visible windows if possible.

ACCESS

• You do not need to be present during the shoot.

• Photographer can access via lockbox provided by your agent.
